Using Redmine Effectively

• Please request username and password for using Redmine from Mr Joakim George.

• All issues or anything that you are working on should be entered in Redmine

• New issues can be assigned to yourself or by your supervisor.

• A request number must be entered. Please liase with Mr Edgar for numbers.

• A status of In progress should be attached to issues that you are working on

• A status of new must be selected for each new issue.

• Date start is the date the issue was entered and expected completion the date intended to complete. These dates must be completed to determine efficiency.

• Please update the percentage when work is done on an issue at the end of the day. Include comments on what has been accomplished to update progress percentage.

• Ensure that all fields are completed to record history of the issue at hand.

• On the day issue is completed the issue should be updated to complete to determine all completed issues.

• Select Tracker option for the related issue.

1. As long as we use Redmine correctly it will not be required to turn in a monthly project timesheet.

2. I will be checking Redmine every day as well as communicating with you on issues via Redmine providing suggestions if necessary.
